Goal 1: A number of academy schools opened up close by which presented a problem with pupil admissions and the appointment and retention of staff. The site needed to increase admissions and advertise the NQT program the school was running.

WWD: We created a Join Us section with persuasive text and video testimonials about what current pupils, alumni, NQT trainees and staff love about Jo Richardson.

Social Media

Goal 2: JRCS were early adopters of social media in schools. They also produced a large amount of video content but until now had nowhere to showcase it. They needed this information to be front and centre as part of their website overhaul.

What we did: We created a parallax effect using their logo to display their latest tweet in a prime location on the homepage and created a YouTube channel to appear on the homepage that combined all the videos uploaded to the various department and main school channels.

Photography

Goal 3: The school has a very strong vision that took the form acrostically from the word ACHIEVE. This is published heavily around the school and in its printed materials and that level of coverage needed to be represented on the website.

What we did: We completed a full days photo-shoot capturing all aspects of the school with a focus on the statements within the vision. These images were used in a slider we built on the on the homepage alongside the vision.
